Job Summary
Utility Person provides versatile support across housekeeping, maintenance, production, and equipment operation in a plant setting. Responsibilities include assisting in plant operations, production, quality control, loading/shipping, plant clean-up, lubrication, preventative maintenance on mobile and plant equipment, and cross-training across all plant areas. Must perform pre/post-shift inspections, maintain maintenance logs, follow safety regulations, operate site equipment (e.g., Bobcat, Kubota, RTV), and maintain a safe, organized workspace. Travel and overnight accommodations may be required for training and travel over 50 miles. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adaptability in a fast-paced, outdoor industrial environment.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 1-year equipment operation, plant operation, or maintenance experience preferred
- Must be able to read and interpret gauges/dials
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
- Willing to work irregular shifts, days, nights and weekends as needed
