Job Summary
Perform pallet sorting, restacking, and sanitation while identifying and reworking products that do not meet customer specifications. Coordinate work to ensure B.E.S.T practices with all team members, attend team meetings, and foster cohesiveness regarding direction, annual plans, and policy changes. Maintain familiarity with Simmons operating systems and communicate concerns or improvement ideas to support quality and security objectives. Obtain and maintain company-issued forklift certification, with previous forklift experience preferred. Work in a busy, noisy, dusty environment with temperature extremes, standing for an entire shift and lifting up to 75 pounds while wearing required PPE including safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel-toed shoes.
