Job Summary
Responsible for setting up equipment in preparation for startup and learning/covering all jobs in the department while adhering to safety, food safety, and company policies. Must be fluent in computer-based programs (Excel and SAP) or able to learn. Willing to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out Tag Out program. Monitor production area for trash/debris. Communicate effectively with employees and management. Familiar with safe operation of production line conveyor equipment. Willing to work in temperatures at or below 35°F for 8 hours. Able to perform tasks for extended periods (standing, bending, reaching, lifting, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently working at the facility or complex
- Ability to learn and cover all jobs in the department
- Fluent in Microsoft Excel and SAP or ability to learn
- Ability to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out Tag Out program
- Able to operate production line conveyor equipment safely
- Able to work in temperatures at or below 35 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 hours
- Physical ability to perform tasks for 8 hours including standing, bending, twisting, reaching, etc.
- Must meet attendance and disciplinary requirements as specified (no more than 4 attendance occurrences; no disciplinary suspension in past 6 months)
- Must be able to work 1st shift
- Must be able to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
