Job Summary
Conduct scheduled maintenance on material handling equipment and manage raw material supply to the bag and box production area. Monitor box bottom and lid output to meet shift specifications, then place full pallets in the warehouse drop area for shipping. Empty and bale scrap containers as required while assisting operators and QA to uphold quality standards. Collaborate with maintenance and technical resources to address line issues and provide feedback for process improvements. Complete all documentation accurately and assist in training other personnel within the material handling department.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Ability to stand for 12 hours
- Ability to lift up to 26 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification (or the ability to obtain it)
