Job Summary
Utility Operator needed to maintain and operate plant equipment, including shredding operations, shredder maintenance, conveyor upkeep, boiler outage support, equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and warehouse tasks. Responsible for operating front end loaders, forklifts, sweepers, and related machinery; performing safety-related duties (confined-space attendance, fire watch) and supporting various departments; expected to work rotating and on-call shifts and to perform overtime as needed. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401(k), paid parental leave, PTO, and holidays. Location: West Wareham, MA; salary range $47,400–$63,200 USD (annualized).
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Valid State Driver's License
- Ability to operate front end loaders, fork trucks, and sweepers
- Rotating shift schedule and on-call shift coverage
- Physical ability to walk, stand, climb, lift/carry 50 lbs
- Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
