Job Summary
As a Utility Operator, perform a variety of operational tasks in an industrial environment to support the waste disposal process. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment is properly charged, maintaining refuse fuel levels in boiler hoppers, mixing and leveling refuse in the pit, loading ash with industrial equipment, supervising delivery trucks to the tipping floor, safely operating front end loaders to manage material, inspecting delivered refuse to determine disposal processes, and monitoring inbound/outbound traffic. Role requires ability to work a rotating shift and to meet physical demands, with safety and efficiency as core priorities. Strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and adherence to company values; benefits include health insurance, PTO, and retirement plans. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
