Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise operations for water treatment, supply, transmission, and wastewater systems to ensure optimal safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Provide input on organizational goals, manage staff performance evaluations, and oversee the annual department budget while enforcing safety policies and emergency response protocols. Conduct field inspections, review construction plans, and coordinate maintenance activities through the EAM system to improve asset performance and operational processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- TCEQ Class B Wastewater Operator license
- TCEQ Class C Groundwater license
- Valid Texas Driver's license
- insurable driving record
- 10 years of progressively responsible and practical experience in the operations, maintenance, repair, and capital improvement and management of water and wastewater systems
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or mechanical/electrical studies
- 5 years of supervisory experience
