Job Summary
Leads, reviews, and trains assigned staff in proper construction methods and design specifications for water and wastewater infrastructure; reviews plans for conformance to construction methods; performs data analysis, GIS mapping, and generates reports for management; supports supervision and guidance to staff; requires experience with wastewater infrastructure, inspections, SSES assessments, and GIS systems; licenses with TCEQ Type I/Wastewater Collection System Operator within 12 months; strong reading of plans/maps and familiarity with MS Office, Maximo, ArcGIS, ITpipes/Bluebeam; light to moderate physical demands and field oversight duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in water or wastewater utilities
- Possession of or ability to obtain a Wastewater Collection System Maintenance or Wastewater Preventive Maintenance; a minimum TCEQ Type I Wastewater Collection System Operator license will be required within twelve (12) months of hire
- Possess a valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen
