Utility Maintenance Technician III - Wastewater Rehabilitation

Job Summary
Leads, oversees, and assists utility crews in installing, repairing, and maintaining wastewater lines and related facilities (e.g., lift stations, sewage plants) while coordinating materials for projects and daily maintenance. Ensures traffic control and safety requirements are followed, makes assessments for assigned projects, may assist other crews with customer-service-related wastewater issues, and may be subject to after-hours call-outs. Requires proven leadership, ability to manage schedules, and compliance with timekeeping and attendance policies. May require various licenses/certifications and physical labor; TEEX coursework may be required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
- Valid Texas driver's license (Class B may be required)
- Traffic Control Training

- Trenching & Shoring Safety
- Confined Space Entry
