Job Summary
Program and operate log bundlers, palletizers, cranes, and stackers to deliver signatures per Finishing guidelines. Order, inspect, mount, and splice paper while maintaining supply levels. Assist Press Operators in achieving department standards for quality, productivity, maintenance, and safety. Perform warehouse duties including mixing small batch matched color inks and disposing of chemical wastes. Requires high school diploma, forklift certification, and ability to lift 50 lbs frequently. Schedule is 2 days on/2 days off from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with overtime pay after 36 hours.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a High School diploma or GED/HiSET
- Proven mechanical ability
- Proven organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- At least 6 months previous experience operating a forklift
- Ability to keep up with a high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Ability perform work productively and safely
- Reliable; good attendance
- Ability to work at a rapid pace
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs. frequently
- Frequent standing, walking, handling, and reaching/working overhead
- Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Ability to wear hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes
- Mandatory overtime as needed
