Job Summary
Locate underground utilities in compliance with 811 dig laws by reading maps, interpreting GIS data, and using electronic equipment to accurately mark lines with paint and flags. Document all work via mobile app photos and reports, investigate excavation-related damages, and participate in an on-call rotation. Maintain company vehicles and equipment while working independently across all weather conditions. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years utility locating experience
- Strong knowledge of 811 laws and best locate practices
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Consistent attendance and punctuality

- Experience with advanced technology and proven expertise beyond basic paint and flag work
- Ability to read and interpret utility maps, as-built drawings, and GIS data
- Ability to use electronic locating equipment and multiple locating methods
- Ability to accurately mark utilities using paint and flags
