Job Summary
Locate underground utilities in compliance with 811 laws by reading maps, interpreting GIS data, and using electronic equipment to accurately mark lines with paint and flags. Document all work via mobile app including photos and reports, then investigate and document excavation-related utility damages. Operate independently across nationwide projects while maintaining company equipment and vehicles in all weather conditions. Participate in an on-call rotation with flexible schedules and overtime availability. Requires valid driver's license, strong knowledge of locate practices, and willingness to pass a drug screen. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years utility locating experience
- Strong knowledge of 811 laws and best locate practices
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules
