Job Summary
Experienced utility locator responsible for locating underground utilities per 811 laws, reading maps and GIS data, using electronic locating equipment and multiple locating methods, accurately marking utilities with paint and flags, documenting all work via a mobile app with photos and reports, and investigating excavation-related utility damages. Must participate in on-call rotations, work independently in all weather conditions, maintain company equipment, and communicate effectively with excavators, property owners, and team members. Position offers independence in your assigned work area with nationwide project experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years utility locating experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules
- Maintain tobacco-free company vehicle
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
