Job Summary
Locate underground utilities in compliance with all 811 dig laws by reading maps, interpreting GIS data, and using electronic equipment. Accurately mark utilities with paint and flags while documenting work via mobile app photos and reports. Investigate and document excavation-related utility damages. Participate in an on-call rotation and work independently in all weather conditions. Maintain company vehicles and communicate with excavators and property owners. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years utility locating experience
- Strong knowledge of 811 laws and best locate practices
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
