Job Summary
UTILITY LOCATOR needed to locate underground utilities in compliance with 811 laws, read and interpret maps/drawings/GIS data, operate electronic locating equipment, and accurately mark utilities with paint and flags. Duties include documenting work via mobile app (photos/reports), investigating excavation-related damages, and participating in an on-call rotation. Must work independently, handle all-weather conditions, maintain equipment/vehicles, and communicate effectively with excavators, property owners, and teammates. Requires valid driver’s license, ability to pass a drug screen, willingness to work overtime/flexible schedules, and a tobacco-free company vehicle policy; option to travel for nationwide projects.
