Job Summary
Locate underground utilities in compliance with all 811 dig laws by reading maps, interpreting as-built drawings, and using electronic locating equipment. Accurately mark utilities with paint and flags while documenting all work via a mobile app, including photos and reports. Investigate and document excavation-related utility damages and participate in an on-call rotation. Work independently in all weather conditions, maintaining company equipment and vehicles while communicating with excavators and property owners. Requires minimum two years experience, valid driver's license, and ability to pass a drug screen. Competitive pay with paid holidays, PTO, and full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years utility locating experience
- Strong knowledge of 811 laws and best locate practices
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug screen
