Job Summary
Locate underground utilities in compliance with all 811 dig laws by reading maps, interpreting as-built drawings, and using electronic locating equipment. Accurately mark utilities with paint and flags while documenting all work via a mobile app, including photos and reports. Investigate and document excavation-related utility damages. Participate in an on-call rotation and work independently across nationwide projects. Maintain company equipment and vehicles, communicating effectively with excavators and property owners. Full-time role with competitive pay, paid holidays, and comprehensive health benefits. Requires minimum two years of utility locating experience and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years utility locating experience
- Strong knowledge of 811 laws and best locate practices
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to maintain company equipment and vehicles
- Ability to communicate effectively with excavators, property owners, and team members
