Job Summary
Locate underground utilities in compliance with all 811 dig laws by reading maps, interpreting GIS data, and using electronic equipment to accurately mark lines with paint and flags. Document all work via a mobile app including photos and reports, and investigate excavation-related utility damages. Participate in an on-call rotation while maintaining company equipment and vehicles. This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, strong knowledge of 811 laws, and the ability to work independently in all weather conditions. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years utility locating experience
- Strong knowledge of 811 laws and best locate practices
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
