Job Summary
Locate underground utilities in compliance with all 811 dig laws by reading utility maps, interpreting as-built drawings, and using electronic locating equipment. Accurately mark utilities with paint and flags while documenting all work via a mobile app, including photos and reports. Investigate and document excavation-related utility damages and participate in an on-call rotation. Maintain company equipment and vehicles, communicate with excavators and property owners, and work independently in all weather conditions. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years utility locating experience
- Strong knowledge of 811 laws and best locate practices
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules
- Maintain a tobacco-free company vehicle
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
