Utility Locator

Locate underground utilities for clients and property owners based on 811 tickets using utility maps, GIS, and various locating equipment. Mark locations with flags and/or paint; prepare reports and documentation; take photos of located lines for each 811 ticket; investigate and document excavations that damage utilities. Comfortable using a cell-phone app to record locating marks and complete required paperwork. On-call rotation and travel 75%+ required. Must pass a drug screen and obtain a DOT physical certification and have a valid driver’s license. Position requires the ability to work in all weather conditions and maintain equipment, with emphasis on safety and teamwork. Tampa, FL area; full-time employment with competitive pay and benefits.
