Job Summary
Locate underground utilities in compliance with all 811 dig laws by reading maps, interpreting GIS data, and using electronic equipment. Accurately mark utilities with paint and flags, document all work via mobile app including photos and reports, and investigate excavation-related utility damages. Participate in an on-call rotation while maintaining company equipment and vehicles. Work independently in all weather conditions, communicating effectively with excavators and property owners. Requires minimum 2 years experience, valid driver's license, and drug screen. Full-time, employee status with competitive pay, paid time off, and comprehensive medical benefits. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years utility locating experience
- Strong knowledge of 811 laws and best locate practices
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules
- Maintain a tobacco-free company vehicle
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
