Job Summary
Locate underground utilities in compliance with 811 dig laws by reading maps, interpreting as-built drawings, and using electronic equipment. Accurately mark utilities with paint and flags while documenting all work via a mobile app with photos and reports. Investigate and document excavation-related utility damages and participate in an on-call rotation. Maintain company equipment and vehicles, communicating effectively with excavators and property owners. Requires minimum two years experience, valid driver's license, and willingness to work in all weather conditions and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years utility locating experience
- Strong knowledge of 811 laws and best locate practices
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules
