Job Summary
Locators locate underground utilities (telecommunications, electric, gas, water, and sewer) in designated areas, marking locations, completing required documentation, and photographing each locate. The role involves daytime, full-time field work in various weather conditions, with overtime, weekend, and on-call shifts as needed. Training is provided, and there are opportunities for advancement within a safety-conscious environment. Experience is encouraged but not required; a valid driver’s license and the ability to use maps and tickets are essential. The position includes a company-provided vehicle and benefits such as health insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, and ongoing job support.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Proficiency with technology
- Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position)
