Job Summary
Locate underground utilities in designated areas, accurately marking locations and photographing each locate, while completing necessary documentation. Work is daytime, full-time with overtime, weekend, and on-call shifts as needed. Training is provided and company-provided vehicle, equipment, and tech tools support field work. Duties include safely locating utilities across telecommunications, electric, gas, water, and sewer systems and using ticketing/claims management systems to ensure clear mark-outs for excavators or property owners.
Required Qualifications
- Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Proficiency with technology
- Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
- Able to pass a drug screen
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, as well as maps and prints
- Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners
