Utility Location Technician

Job Summary
Identify and mark underground utilities for pre-design and construction. Field utility locating using Radio Detection (RD) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and operate Trimble surveying equipment. Assist CAD production, deliverables review, computations, and QA/QC checks; coordinate with field crews and office staff. Travel 3–4 weeks at a time with a $205 per diem; hours range 40–60 per week. Must have a Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving history. Preferred familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS concepts; experience with utility networks and geophysical locating equipment; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects; strong written and verbal communication skills.
