Job Summary
Utility- Loader Operator engaged to unload truckloads of pipe and precast structures, rig pipe and structures for pipe layer, maintain a clean site, and support trenching/site tasks. The role requires operating a Rubber Tire Loader, familiarity with utility staking for staging materials, adherence to OSHA Trenching and Shoring requirements, willingness to work a Monday–Friday schedule with possible Saturdays, and the ability to communicate professionally with supervisors, teammates, clients, and vendors. Training at the HGC Academy is provided. The position emphasizes following foreman/superintendent directions, contributing to a safe, organized lay-down area, and growing through on-site experience and safety training.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year or more of industry-related experience
- Experience running a Rubber Tire Loader
- Must be familiar with utility staking for staging materials
- Must be familiar with OSHA Trenching and Shoring requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and background screening
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing to learn
- Must be willing to work Monday through Friday 7AM-5:30PM, or other schedule as may be assigned, as well as Saturdays when needed
- Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates
