Job Summary
Utility Line Clearance Supervisor leading a year-round, full-time outdoor operations team in West Jefferson, NC. Responsibilities include supervising crews, scheduling work, recruiting and training new hires, coaching and disciplining employees, enforcing policies, ensuring safety, maintaining quality service, meeting operational goals, and resolving issues. Requires 3+ years in tree industry or supervisory experience, strong management and people skills, HS diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, willingness to travel, basic tech skills, and the ability to obtain required licenses/certifications (Pesticide, Arborist, CDL, CTSP). Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in tree industry or prior supervisory experience
- HS Diploma/GED/equivalent
- Current and valid driver's license in good standing
- Ability to work outside in various weather
- Physically able to perform duties
- Ability to travel as needed
- Familiarity with technology (smart phones, computers)
- Ability to create estimates for bidding and maintain good public relations
- Develop new accounts and service existing customers
- Licenses & certifications (Pesticide, Arborist, CDL, CTSP) as required by position (paid for by Lucas Tree)
- Pass post-offer physical, drug screen, background and motor vehicle check
