Job Summary
Inspect potatoes for rot, trim defects, and sort unpeeled items while performing frozen and bag inspections. Remove foreign material, clean screens, build and tear down totes, and execute rework when lines stop. Verify bag codes, shut down baggers if issues arise, and maintain assigned tool locations. Attend daily risk assessments, understand LOTO, and perform weekend cleanups as assigned. Lift 50 pounds, move up and down stairs, and communicate effectively with verbal and written instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively and understand both verbal and written instructions
- Must have a basic mechanical aptitude
- Understands basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to move up and down stairs throughout the shift
- Must attend 2 Daily Risk Assessment meeting per day
- Must understand LOTO
- Must follow all plant and job specific safety duties
- Maintain good personal hygiene
