Job Summary
Operate vacuum excavation equipment and record field data for utility systems while interpreting utility locations using hand-held technology. Perform day-to-day field work involving utility systems under on-the-job training to develop necessary skills. Maintain a valid driver's license and DOT Medical card for commercial motor vehicle operation. Requires high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills. Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in field work involving utility systems
- The willingness and ability to learn how to operate vacuum excavation equipment and record field gathered data
- The aptitude to learn various hand-held technology for the interpretation of utility locations
- Basic computer skills a plus (Excel, WORD etc.)
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle operation
- Highschool Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to maintain required certifications
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check
