Job Summary
Utility KS First Shift supports production lines and multiple stations, inspects packaged product for correct date codes and seal integrity, performs rework per procedures, and operates equipment (case makers, labelers, case tapers, checkweighers, Flexi). Handles material stacking and labeling verification, logs data and completes work orders, adheres to safety/quality standards, maintains clean work areas, and assists in training new employees. Participates in team activities, follows Simmons’ operating systems, and may perform additional duties as assigned by the shift supervisor. Travel not required; role emphasizes hands-on production tasks, equipment operation, quality checks, data documentation, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Experience in food processing or manufacturing environment preferred
- Military experience welcome
