Job Summary
Vegetation Management professional supporting utility infrastructure protection and natural resources, performing vegetation inspections and assessments along rights-of-way for capital transmission projects, identifying tree and brush management needs, using GIS mapping and mobile tech to document field data, evaluating terrain and environmental conditions, collaborating with planners and field crews to implement vegetation solutions, and helping utilities maintain compliance, reliability, and public safety. Requires outdoors aptitude, GIS map interpretation, strong teamwork, and a valid driver’s license; travel within the service area and 4x4 vehicle operation are expected. Preferred qualifications include degrees in Forestry/Environmental fields and related certifications (e.g., ISA Certified Arborist, RPF, pesticide/herbicide applicator license). Opportunities include multiple full-time positions with entry-level pathways and leadership potential; pre-employment drug screening and background checks are required.
