Job Summary
Vegetation Management professional responsible for inspecting utility rights-of-way, identifying tree and brush management needs, and recommending treatment plans. Use GIS mapping and mobile technology to collect and document field data, evaluate terrain and environmental conditions, and collaborate with planners, project managers, and field crews to implement vegetation solutions. Ensure utilities maintain compliance, reliability, and public safety while supporting outdoor work and ongoing learning.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for outdoors and fieldwork
- Ability to read and interpret GIS maps and spatial data
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, comfortable using mobile technology
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to operate a 4x4 vehicle and travel within the service area
- Knowledge of local tree species identification and growth patterns
