Utility/Food Service Worker

Prepare a variety of food items including salads, sandwiches, soups, starches, fruits, vegetables, and meats while maintaining safe and sanitary practices. Assist in meal service for students and persons served by setting up serving areas, arranging trays, stocking food lines, and replenishing items as needed. Review daily production schedules to determine food quantities, gather necessary ingredients and supplies, and operate kitchen equipment safely. Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and tools in accordance with health and safety standards, and store food and leftovers appropriately following proper handling guidelines. Support food preparation and service for special events, including meetings, conferences, and on-site functions.
