Utility Engineer - Infra

Job Summary
Plan, design, and manage all mechanical utility facilities including HVAC, steam, chilled water, and clean room systems. Establish annual maintenance and investment plans, oversee construction projects, and lead site activities with stakeholders. Conduct daily facility inspections, analyze energy usage trends, and implement efficiency improvements. Respond to regulatory inspections, prepare audit documents for PSM/ISO compliance, and execute emergency training plans. Manage urgent complex problems involving vendors, production teams, and local community while maintaining safety protocols in high-temperature and hazardous environments. This P2 role supports manufacturing operations within the EV battery and auto parts industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent
- At least 3-5 year of relevant experience in EV battery, auto parts, automobile industry, or similar manufacturing in electric or chemical component
- Working level of English (verbal, written, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must wear the company-provided uniform
- Must wear the company-provided uniform and PPE including safety shoes, safety helmet (hard hat), safety glasses/safety goggles, portable gas measuring device
- Must wear dust-proof suit, shoes, gloves and hat
- Must wear dust-proof mask
- Additionally wear gas mask, dust-proof mask, chemical resistant clothing
Desired Qualifications
- (Preferred) Steam boiler, PE related certification
- (Preferred) Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar programs (reading and drawing)
