Job Summary
Operate a heavy-duty truck on container delivery, recycling, residential, commercial, or industrial routes for Athens Services; perform pre- and post-trip inspections (DVIR) and report any vehicle deficiencies, ensuring OSHA/DOT compliance; maintain a clean, safe vehicle and wear PPE; follow safety rules, coordinate with Route Supervisors/Dispatch, and assist with route efficiencies while providing professional customer service on every delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Class A or B Driver's License
- 3+ years of experience operating a commercial vehicle
- Clean Driving Record
- Able to meet all DOT requirements
- Able to provide exceptional customer service
- Good time management skills
- Able to perform all physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
