Job Summary
Wash dishes, pans, and smallwares; clean, reset, and wipe down tables between guests. Restock dishes, utensils, to-go containers, and supplies while taking out trash, sweeping, and mopping to maintain a clean workspace. Assist with kitchen prep and closing duties as needed. Work morning and weekend shifts in a fast-paced kitchen environment, lifting up to 50 lbs and following sanitation procedures. Join a locally owned cafe building a modern hospitality model where everyone on the team receives respect and a voice.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Able to stand, bend, lift, and move quickly during long shifts
- Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs (trash bags, dish racks, etc.)
- Reliable transportation to and from shifts
- Willing to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Comfortable working in wet, hot, and fast-paced kitchen environments
- Must follow cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures consistently
- Weekend availability required
- Must show up on time, every time
- Good attitude
- Fast worker with attention to detail
- Physically able to lift, bend, and stay on your feet
- Doesn't mind working behind the scenes
- Ready to step up when needed
