Utility Control Room Operator 2/3 (CRO)

Job Summary
Maintain operation of the site's utility generation and distribution systems including steam, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, power, BAS, WFI, RO, distillations, waste water treatment, and associated control systems. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of utility systems in coordination with shift technicians and other department technicians. Implement and enforce Utility Operating Procedures, coordinate utility interruptions in normal and emergency situations, and train shift technicians in safety and operating procedures. Respond to DCS and BAS alarms to ensure site equipment and space environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, pressure) are properly maintained. Manage utility complaint calls from the site population and ensure utilities/comfort issues are addressed. Education/experience requirements include an Associate’s degree in a relevant technical field, plus 3–4 years of relevant experience depending on level, and qualification in UPO/PSO/CUO watch station. The role operates in a manufacturing environment with rotating shifts and requires familiarity with GMP, process safety management, and related standards.

- 4 years relevant experience (Operator 3)
- Qualified in one watch station: Utility Plant Operator (UPO), Production Support Operator (PSO), or Critical Utility Operator (CUO)
