Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties to maintain high safety and sanitation standards for members and team members. Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance, removes trash and debris, and ensures carts are stocked, clean, and in working order. Operates equipment including floor scrubbers, trash compactors, and cardboard balers while performing wet and dry mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and carpet extracting. Restocks cleaning supplies, conducts minor building repairs, and prioritizes maintenance tasks across the sales floor, offices, restrooms, and outdoor grounds. Works Friday through Monday from 3:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, with starting pay from $16.00.
Required Qualifications
- Must successfully complete required training and certification processes
- Must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age restricted areas
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job
- Availability needed will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 330pm to 1030pm
- Must be able to lift objects up to 30 pounds
- May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance
- Requires using a pallet jack to pull and push pallets
- Frequently works both indoors and outdoors with regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions
- Frequently requires bending, climbing, crawling, pulling, reaching, stooping and climbing ladders/step stools
Desired Qualifications
- Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
- Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred
