Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties to maintain high safety and sanitation standards for members and team members. Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance, removes trash and debris, and operates floor scrubbers, trash compactors, and cardboard balers. Restocks maintenance supplies, performs minor building repairs, and ensures all carts are stocked, clean, and in working order. Maintains outdoor grounds including cart corrals, sidewalks, and trash receptacles while prioritizing tasks efficiently. Requires regular, predictable full attendance with a starting salary of $16.25. This part-time role supports BJ's Wholesale Club's commitment to GOLD Member Standards across sales floors, offices, restrooms, and outdoor areas.
Required Qualifications
- Must successfully complete required training and certification processes
- Must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age restricted areas
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job
Desired Qualifications
- Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
- Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred
