Job Summary
Provide excellent service to customers at the checkstand, assist with purchases and carry-out service, maintain cleanliness and order at the front end of the store, and comply with health and company safety policies. The role includes observing store rules, handling customer transactions accurately, maintaining general housekeeping standards, and responding to safety hazards effectively. Education at the high school level is preferred, and candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and ability in basic arithmetic.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform arithmetical calculations at the eighth-grade level
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to read and understand instructions, policies and procedures
- Ability to fill out forms and rental agreements
- Ability to solve practical problems
Additional Requirements
- Be able to pass a standard drug test and qualify as being drug-free under the legal and medical guidelines permitted by the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988
