Utility Clerk

Maintains acceptable store conditions according to Company standards and engages with customers while transporting groceries and locating products. Performs price verifications and supports customer service duties to maintain a safe, sanitary shopping environment. Builds attractive product displays by assembling products in allotted space, removes discarded packaging, and places items for purchase. Collects and returns shopping carts, keeps the parking lot free of trash, and communicates incidents or concerns to management. Maintains full stock on grocery display racks and shelves, promotes product sales through active customer engagement, and adheres to safety procedures. Requires ability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks (18+ years), flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and the physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs. Must stay courteous, communicate effectively, multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment, and follow company policies. This role is based in Baton Rouge, LA, and is part-time with on-site responsibilities in-store at Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC).
