Job Summary

Mop tile and concrete floors, vacuum carpets, and scrub, wax, buff, and strip surfaces as needed. Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, kitchens, and entrances, while re-stocking supplies and emptying waste bins. Dust furniture, blinds, and light fixtures, and maintain an orderly storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Lift up to 40 pounds and handle hazardous materials in accordance with safety rules. Report damage, vandalism, and minor maintenance repairs. Obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI US Government security clearance. Work 03:30 PM – 12:00 AM Monday through Friday.

Required Qualifications

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI US Government security clearance
US citizenship
High School diploma or equivalent
One (1) year of general work experience
Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment, including knowledge of the Hazardous Materials Information System
Ability to read and understand instructions and labels, particularly on the use and application of cleaning chemicals and products
A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings and nights, as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays
Must demonstrate satisfactory oral and written communication skills in English, including the ability to describe incidents via verbal briefing and/or written report
Must be able to carry, push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds
Must be able to grasp or handle objects, bend elbows and knees, and reach above shoulders
Extensive walking and standing required
Required to handle hazardous materials
