Job Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Chef, the Utility Aide performs a variety of cleaning, sanitation, and storage duties, works in the dish room and storage areas, and adheres to sanitation and safety policies. Dish Room responsibilities include breaking down soiled dishes, monitoring dish machine temperature, washing and sanitizing dishes and pots/pans, and keeping the area orderly. Receiving responsibilities include checking deliveries against orders, rotating stock, and documenting invoices. Additional responsibilities cover assisting in high-quality food preparation and service, reporting shortages or equipment malfunctions, and removing waste. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to work a variety of tasks, heat tolerance, and team collaboration. Hours are full-time with shifts from 8a-4p or 11:30a-7:30p and weekend availability; benefits include dental, health, life, vision, disability, and vacation/holiday leave. EEO statement included.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to perform a variety of assigned tasks.
- Ability to exercise initiative in maintaining kitchen in a clean and orderly condition.
- Ability to work well with others.
