Job Summary
Coordinate maintenance services for biologics, cell therapy, and development operations at the BMS Devens campus by managing work orders, safety inspections, and equipment support. Develop systems and procedures to enhance business performance while troubleshooting technical problems and leading reliability-centered maintenance initiatives. Manage a team by setting KPIs, ensuring training compliance, and driving performance against world-class maintenance goals. Process quality events, CAPAs, and audit responses to maintain cGMP and regulatory standards. Ensure proper material availability and hazardous material disposal while supporting facilities operations and cross-training as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Maintenance, Operations and Engineering generally attained through studies resulting in a B.S., in engineering, or related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Maintenance, Operations of Clean Utilities and/or Biologic Process Manufacturing and Manufacturing equipment support
- Ability to provide support during external and internal regulatory audits (FDA, EMEA, etc.)
- Previous lead experience which demonstrates proficiency in selection, motivating and retaining a superior team, effectively managing personnel issues and planning and administering financial resources
- Knowledge of Maximo or other CMMS applications required
- Demonstrated aptitude for engineering principles and building and/or manufacturing automation systems
- Experience in working in an environment governed by SOPs and cGMPs and the know–how to work and manage within a regulatory oversight
- Adaptable to a fast paced, complex and ever changing business environment
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Rotating Day Shift (5am-5pm)
- 5% shift differential
- Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility
