Job Summary
Senior Utilities Project Manager to lead utility service initiation, coordination, and installation across electric, gas, water, sewer, and telecommunications providers. Serve as the primary communication hub for assigned projects, coordinating with clients, contractors, and utility representatives to ensure accurate documentation, timely updates, and successful service installation. Responsibilities include obtaining design drawings and permits, reviewing and submitting utility applications and site plans, coordinating with multiple utility providers, monitoring milestones, managing on-site meetings, and maintaining detailed project records. Requires a Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience, excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Hybrid schedule based in Manalapan, NJ; travel to client sites or municipal agencies as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of comparable experience
- Strong proactive communication skills
- Experience reading engineered drawings
- Ability to research municipal utility portals and websites
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
