Job Summary
The Utilities Operator is primarily responsible for monitoring and maintaining utility systems at Sunshine Village, ensuring safe and efficient services for all resort users. Key duties include inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining domestic water and wastewater systems, administering propane and fuel supplies, and fulfilling reporting requirements. The role demands strong mechanical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 21 years of age with a valid AB driver's license, and exhibit a positive attitude while being reliable and calm under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- High school grad or equivalent
- Valid AB driver’s license
- Mechanically inclined
- At least 21 years of age
- Effectively communicate in English, both written and verbally
Desired Qualifications
- Computer skills, especially with Microsoft suite of programs
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Candidates may be required to provide their own transportation to the resort base
- Candidates are required to provide and maintain CSA approved safety footwear
