Job Summary
Maintenance Generalist responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and reduce downtime in a fast-paced Tyson Foods facility; utilize CMMS to log information and complete documentation; requires 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or completion of a 2-year industrial maintenance program, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and willingness to work overtime and weekends; exposure to a range of temperatures and the need to interact with plant personnel to achieve production goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Graduate of a 2-year industrial maintenance training program (vocational or trade school) or equivalent experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Basic computer skills and ability to log information and process daily work orders, with familiarity with CMMS
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends
