Job Summary
Pinpoints the paths of underground utilities (pipes, conduit, and cable) using utility maps, GIS data, and locating equipment; marks the location with stakes/flags/paint and documents work through reports; may require on-call shifts; must work outdoors in varying weather, follow OSHA and company safety rules, and communicate effectively with team and external contacts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of previous experience in utility locating including: water, gas, telecommunications, power as well as the ability to read any and all prints to accurately mark utilities.
- Valid driver’s license.
