Job Summary
Join Excel Underground, LLC as a Utilities Locator to accurately locate and mark underground utility lines, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Willingness to undergo training and obtain necessary certifications as required
- Be able to occasionally lift up to 75lbs
- Be available to work after hours, occasional Saturdays, and on-call rotation
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and random checks throughout employment
- Be willing and able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in utility locating, construction, surveying, or related field
- Knowledge of utility infrastructure, including water, sewer, gas, electric, and telecommunications systems
- Familiarity with utility locating equipment and techniques, such as electromagnetic locators and ground-penetrating radar
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret maps, blueprints, and utility records
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
