Job Summary
Provide non-medical, in-home care services including companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assistance with activities of daily living and personal hygiene. Transport clients to and from appointments and activities while carrying out specific care plans and collaborating with the Home Helpers team and family. Address unique client needs for seniors, those with disabilities, illness, injury, or new mothers through compassionate solutions. Maintain a professional appearance, follow tasks within given time periods, and pass drug screening and background checks. Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and clean driving record required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a passion for caring for those in need
- At least 18 years of age
- Have compassion for our clients, including seniors and/or those with disabilities
- Must be a good communicator
- Must be able to follow and complete a list of tasks within a given time period
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Must be self-motivated and have a professional, pleasant, positive, and helpful disposition
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Hold a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record
- Have a smart phone and email account
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Willing to take a TB test
Desired Qualifications
- Caregiving experience is preferred, but not required
